Lakeside Park Daily Pass
Metered parking is in effect daily from May through October each year. Parking is enforced by the Big Lake Police Department and all proceeds go toward maintaining the park. Below are instructions on how to use the Lakeside Park parking meter to purchase daily passes:
- Park your vehicle
- Enter your parking stall number
- Deposit payment for applicable parking type (only debit-credit cards accepted)
- Vehicle: $5 per day
- Vehicle & Trailer: $20 per day
- Keep your receipt
- Seasonal Pass holders with a displayed Seasonal Pass do not need to enter their parking stall at the parking meter. Simply park and play!
**If you receive a citation that you disagree with, please submit a Parking Ticket Appeal Form to the Big Lake Police Department.

Parking/Driving Rules & Regulations
Vehicles, including motorcycles, must park/drive only in the designated areas. Beware of restricted parking areas (handicapped, no parking, etc.). Watch for children.
Boating
Subd. 2 Direction. All watercraft exceeding a slow-no wake speed shall travel in a counterclockwise direction. Subd. 3 Speed. A. The maximum speed limit of watercraft shall be forty miles per hour (40 m.p.h.) at all times except with the exception of those areas and times listed in Sections 560.02, Subd.3.B. and 560.02, Subd.3.C. B. Maximum speed limit of watercraft shall be fifteen miles per hour (15 m.p.h.) sunset to sunrise all year. C. A slow-no wake speed shall be maintained in the area extending one hundred fifty feet (150’) from the shore. Watercraft launching or landing water skiers by the most direct route to open water shall be exempt from this provision.
Swimming
No lifeguard on duty. Swim only in the buoyed area.
