    By using an electronic signature, I acknowledge that I have read the Big Lake Volunteer Program Handbook. I understand that the handbook may be amended at any time. I also understand that neither the handbook or any provision in it creates a contract of any kind between me and the City of Big Lake. I understand that it is my responsibility to become and remain informed about the volunteer program guidelines, policies and procedures of the city and to abide by them, including those contained in this handbook. I also understand that my participation in the City's volunteer program is voluntary and that I have no expectation of compensation of any kind in connection with my program participation. Finally, I acknowledge that my participation in the volunteer program is a privilege, even though it is voluntary; I understand that either I or the City may end my participation at any time in an exercise of our respective judgment and discretion.
